Eric Foster & Genote/Associates (EFG) was established in September 2000.  The firm was renamed to EFG Engineers (Pty) Ltd in September 2005 when the following practices (with whom it previously built a strong relationship) were incorporated into EFG:

• David Faure Consulting Engineers (established in January 2001), and
• James Marais Siviele Ontwerp (established in June 2004).

We have a strong client focus backed up with expert knowledge and sound analytical techniques and are not afraid of innovative solutions.  We fully embrace the principles of quality by meeting the expressed and implied needs of our clients and stakeholders.

EFG is a level 2 Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment contributor and we unite with emerging consultants/contractors whenever the opportunity presents itself.

EFG continuously trains personnel internally and externally to broaden the range of technical services on offer to our clients.  Academic training is fully supported at graduate and post-graduate level and we are committed to professionally train and register our staff with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
